The company pioneers in implementation of the latest manufacturing technologies in semi-trailer industry in Poland. Thanks to modern production facilities, automation and robotization of production process, Wielton can compete with international companies in terms of quality, and range of products The company offers the greatest range of products on Polish market with more than 60 types of transport vehicles adapted to individual requirements of each client. Developed product distribution network and high availability of service points confirms Wielton’s advantage over the competition.

In 2006 Wielton recorded increase in sales of 53%. 3544 goods vehicles were sold in total. Company’s income increased by almost 50% reaching 278 mln PLN out of which 34% of the turnover came from exportation.
The strategic goal of the company is to maintain the position of leading supplier of semi-trailers and trailers in Poland and gaining a significant position on selected exportation markets of Central-Eastern Europe. Currently implemented investment programme including among other, extension of the production plant, automation and robotization of the machines is to allow abrupt increase of income scale. Company’s strategic plans also include acquisition of entities that will enable future achievement of synergy and diversification of sources of income. Taking over both domestic and foreign entities from the broadly understood motorization industry is also being considered.
